A head injury is usually the result of a traumatic injury like a fall or a car accident. Generally your pet may be dizzy or confused and possibly even lose consciousness. Make sure to consult a vet immediately if your cat is acting in an unusual manner.

Symptoms

Steps
1   Keep her quiet and calm by wrapping her in a blanket to keep her warm
2   If she loses consciousness elevate her head to help blood flow and relieve or reduce any pressure in the head
3   Rinse a clean washcloth in cold water and hold it against the swollen area and place an ice pack for 15 min on and 15 min off
4   Consult a vet as soon as possible.
Warnings
Keep an eye on your cat if symptoms increase consult your vet
Tips
Head swelling can occur from an allergic reaction from a bee sting or bite allergy
