  Keep your head elevated
You may take Tylenol or acetaminophen to reduce pain
Use ice at the time of injury and for 1-2 days afterward to reduce pain and swelling. Be sure to take breaks between applications
To aid in breathing through the nostrils take an over-the-counter nasal decongestant and read warning labels and use for no more than 3 days

  Seek medical help if needed
