Diarrhea is when you have loose, watery stools more than three times in one day. It can be caused by bacteria, viruses or parasites, certain medicines, food intolerances and diseases that affect the stomach, small intestine or colon. It is usually not harmful however it can show a more serious problem. People with persistent diarrhea should see their doctors.

Symptoms

Steps
1   Drink 2-3 quarts of fluid per day and in the first 24 hours the best fluids to drink are bottled fruit juices and beverages, hot tea, and broth.
2   In the next 24 hours, eat bland foods such as rice, soup, bread, crackers, eggs, and cereals. Advance to regular foods after 2-3 days.
